Creative Spaces: Cinnamon Ruffles

My friend Charice of Cinnamon Ruffles is one of the most creative people I know. Everything she touches becomes interesting and beautiful. Her "creative space" is a collage of things that inspire her. :)

1. art books (stacks of books, collages and great drawings)

2. music ( green trunk with random cds - i like some of the quirky offerings from perceval press)

3. vinyl - America's album is one of my favorites

4. catalogs - Free People is one that uses collages and animals in their photos that i started saving a few years ago. and of course Anthropologie

5. This "Royall Bay Rhum" bottle my friend Katie recently sent me. Found in an antique store, it has a small silver cap in the shape of a crown.

Here is a tiny example of the beautiful things Charice can make- a birthday card she crafted for a mutual friend of ours. Isn't it amazing??

Creative Spaces: Schue Love

Hi Readers! It's Natasha from Schue Love and I am thrilled that the lovely Meredith from Rose Bredl asked me to share my creative space{s} with all of you today!

I feel like I pull my creativity from a lot of spaces within our home, but it seems like the kitchen always ends up being our centralized hub.

The large kitchen island has allowed me to cook, cut flowers, wrap presents, among many other crafts and creative projects. I feel at home in the kitchen...and a good amount of that is because I helped knock the floors in and tile the backsplash! That kitchen is "me" through and through.

Yep! We did it all on our own! :)

Here a photos of hubby and I cooking in the kitchen...doing what we enjoy most! I love that that we can cook together and as a team...it's great bonding time! You can find our favorite recipes {so far!} here.

Another place I get really creative is outdoors...while gardening!

We don't get a very long season...so when the summer comes around...you'll be sure to find us outdoors!

One thing is for sure...I wish I ran a floral studio so that I could constantly be surrounded by beautiful flowers all day long! At least I have Rose Bredl's blog to go to! :)

Creative Spaces: Kelley Hall

So, if you know anything about Rose Bredl, you know we LOVE all things K.Hall: home and body care products that are fabulously scented, with sophisticated packaging and are handmade in the USA! All this to say I am SO excited to share with you today's creative space- Kelley Hall of K.Hall Designs.

Kelley's creative space is full of top secret goodies, so instead she shares pictures of the "meeting area" of her design office space. Lucky her, it is in the carriage house behind her one hundred year old historic home in Webster Groves, MO. I love how absolutely cozy it is- you can definitely see why her products have such a sophisticated and classic feel. The whole space says clean and polished!

Creative Spaces: Kelly Frankel

We at Rose Bredl love and celebrate creativity, and I love seeing the different spaces creative friends carve out to 'get cookin' on ideas, crafts, blog-posts- you name it. So, we asked some of our favorite creative people to share their spaces with us. This space belongs to Kelly, author of Classically Eclectic, an awesome blog about home style, renovation and the places to find the inspiration to do so. I envy her neatness! (though she did admit it usually involves magazines strewn all over) True to her blog, Kelly's creative space is still evolving (should she replace the chair she spray-painted from her dad's office with a bamboo chair?
