Here is an inspiration board made for Mallory's potential winter wedding. She still loves the ideas of white and pink and I think it works splendidly with a winter theme. I added small pops of sage green and blue (for Clay) to keep it from being too peaches and cream.

We were so thrilled to be even the smallest part of one of the greatest cancer fighting communities out there- Pelotonia. Cancer has touched so many of us here at Rose Bredl on a personal level, and we will do everything to support an organization which has one goal: to beat cancer. It is never too late/to early to give (every single dollar goes to funding cancer research)Please, please check them out and consider being a part of next year's race.
PS- we thought the video Outsider Entertainment made for Pelotonia's opening night was over-the-top amazing; emotional, heart-felt, and downright inspiring. (look for Mary at the very end)
Be prepared: this is a big post. We had such an amazing time at our floral workshop, a big thank you to everyone who participated. The creative juices were flowing and we were so impressed with what our students produced!
Also a huge thank you to Emily B. who took all of the photos. We cannot express how impressed we are with her gorgeous photography.
If you're looking to add rustic charm to just about anything, look no further than burlap. We love the material here at Rose Bredl and use it in all kinds of fun ways! Over the weekend we wrapped various herbs in burlap bags for centerpieces at a German Village Haus und Garten tour party (top). Burlap is easy to stamp or print on - which makes it easy to personalize as well (wedding favors, anyone?)
We had SO much fun as a team last night at the Women's Fund Keyholder event. Goldie was every bit the fun and funny girl we expected her to be, and smart and loving, too. And of course, all of our hard work paid off the minute she walked out on stage, stopped to smell her flowers and then exclaimed to everyone that she LOVED them. We are so thankful for the opportunity to give back to such an amazing organization- thanks to everyone involved!
Man or Woman, support the Central Ohio women's fund! Be there Wednesday night at the Keyholder event to hear Goldie Hawn share on the joys of being a woman! Even better? Rose Bredl is lucky enough to be providing all of the floral arrangements for the event. And, its GOLDIE! I've always loved her fun sense of style and great sense of humor- what a beauty! I'll be honest, I could watch Overboard every day for the rest of my life. " I just, cough cough... ate a bug!"
Wednesday night Rose Bredl fans had the opportunity to learn all about container gardening with herbs and succulents from GreenSpace designer Jay Logan. I learned so many things about the planting and caring of potted plants (thrill, fill, spill anyone?)- and everyone had a great time. We were also blessed to have photographer Emily B in attendance, and she was kind enough to share with us lovely photos of the event (I loved her potted succulents, bottom right.) I can hardly wait to attend the next event, Thank you Mary and Jay!
