This is Jay- he's a GREENspace designer who happens to live in our 'hood. We are so happy to have him join our team at Rose Bredl, and excited to see what else he has up his sleeve- just get a look at the gorgeous container gardening!
Forget April and May- February showers make us want flowers! Tulips are always cheerful- and so are dry feet. Wear these hunter wellies a la Rose Bredl with, well, everything!
I love the Utility Canvas cart in the store right now- its chock full of cozy blankets (best -performing blankets for gardening, dogs, picnics, reading by the fire, etc.) carry-all totes, and cosmetic bags. Fun and colorful- we could use a little of that these grey winter days in Ohio.
We're rounding out the week with a few of our favorite floral inspired goodies. First, a classic style icon Ali Mcgraw, and Kate Spade's pretty Posy Necklace. Then a gorgeous arrangement of amnesia roses from Rose Bredl, and Keri Herer's framed print of a Paris floral market- available here. (FYI, we carry some of miss Herer's gorgeous floral prints at Rose Bredl, too)
My friend Deepa is one of the most motivated and amazing people I know. Right now she and her husband are in India exploring (among MANY other things) the amazing benefits and properties of natural dyes. The photos above are from a workshop she put together for dyeing fabrics naturally with turmeric- I'd say the results are breathtaking. You can read more about natural dyeing, and Deepa's discoveries here.

Congrats to Glenda and Daniel for having your beautiful wedding featured on Capital Style's website! We loved working with this lovely couple- their joy in marrying each other definitely carried over into their wedding aesthetic- view the entire article, here.

If you're craving a no-fuss, traditional cocktail and a well-curated list of charcuterie and delicious cheeses, Mouton is the place to go. My favorites: The Whiskey Splash (shown above) and the Bonne Bouche (a cheese I first tried on my honeymoon in Vermont.) Plus- we like their taste in fresh floral arrangements, if we say so ourselves.
A lot of fun is going down at this weekend's gallery hop; Madewell's Cocoa Cart will be at Rose Bredl, and we're making our love for LadyBird official in time for V-Day with a little something extra for her customers (and vice versa)
My mom found this a few years ago and I thought it would be fun to share (even though it was really a birthday present for my Grandma, not a valentine.) I love the 50's lingo, and I think it should be noted that my grandfather was an engineer.
